About Alaçam Amethyst

Alaçam amethyst is a distinctive purple quartz from the Dursunbey District of Balıkesir Province, Turkey, where amethyst is found in rhyolite-dacite host rock and scattered vugs within the matrix included with quartz and hematite. These specimens are especially admired for their fine druzy texture, sculptural presence, and richly nuanced color — from smoky rose and plum to deeper violet-purple. Because of their compact scale and collector-grade character, Alaçam pieces feel more refined and distinctive than broad commercial amethyst clusters.

Collector Note: Each specimen in this release was individually selected for crystal density, saturation, sculptural form, or one-of-a-kind display presence.

◆ These collector specimens pair beautifully with other one-of-a-kind pieces in our Curio Cabinet collection.
