About Cobaltoan Calcite

Cobaltoan Calcite from the Katanga Copper Crescent of the Democratic Republic of Congo is a cobalt-bearing variety of calcite known for its vivid natural pink coloration and diverse crystal habits. Formed in copper-cobalt deposits, these specimens are associated with malachite and related copper minerals. Often called the Stone of Joy, these pieces are valued both for their geological character and their presence.

Collector Note: Each specimen in this release was individually selected for crystal habit, color intensity, formation diversity, or distinctive display presence.

◆ These collector specimens pair beautifully with other rare mineral examples within our Curio Cabinet collection.
