August Energy Report - Momentum in Motion
August arrives with momentum already in motion.
The larger pattern opened by Barbault’s Basket continues to carry us forward, while the Lion’s Gate Portal brings that energy into sharper focus around courage, intention, possibility, and what we are ready to create.
This month’s tarot card, The Emperor, gives that expansive energy a foundation. He reminds us that manifestation is not only about envisioning what we want. It also requires direction, structure, and the willingness to move.
August is a month for giving possibility somewhere to take root.
Founder’s Message
Moving Through the Lion’s Gate Portal
August feels like a month that arrives already in motion.
The momentum of Barbault’s Basket is still present as we move into the Lion’s Gate Portal, creating a powerful convergence of possibility, intention, and forward movement. There is a great deal of expansive energy here—but expansion alone does not determine where we go.
That is where The Emperor becomes important.
He reminds us that manifestation is not only the act of naming what we want. It is the decision to create the structure that allows it to take form. Vision needs direction. Growth needs roots. Momentum needs somewhere purposeful to go.
This month, I am thinking less about waiting for a sign and more about choosing a direction. What are we prepared to build? What deserves our energy? What becomes possible when we move with intention rather than simply reacting to what is moving around us?
The Lion’s Gate Portal can be approached as a moment of amplification, but we still decide what we are amplifying. August asks us to choose carefully—and then begin.

The Lion’s Gate Portal Collection
Created around the themes of courage, confidence, clarity, abundance, and intentional action, the Lion’s Gate Portal Collection offers tools for working with this powerful August window.
These are stones chosen not simply for attracting possibility, but for helping us recognize what we are ready to pursue—and supporting the focus required to move toward it.
Moldavite: Transformation in Motion
Rather than selecting a traditional Stone of the Month, August opens the Curio Cabinet for a limited Moldavite drop.
Moldavite was formed approximately 14.8 million years ago through the force of the Ries impact, when terrestrial material was transformed, carried through the atmosphere, and rapidly cooled into natural glass.
It is a fitting material for a month centered on momentum, transformation, and possibility. The drop includes a limited group of natural Moldavite specimens and pendants, including the one-of-a-kind Angel Chime Moldavite & Rubellite Pendant.
Each piece carries physical evidence of matter changed through extraordinary conditions—a reminder that transformation does not always happen slowly.
Intention Spotlight — Abundance, Prosperity & Possibility
Manifestation in Motion
Abundance is not limited to what arrives from outside of us. It can also be found in the opportunities we recognize, the ideas we are willing to develop, and the room we create for something new to grow.
This month’s intention collection centers abundance as an active relationship with possibility. It supports opening to what may be available while remaining grounded enough to make thoughtful decisions about what we are prepared to receive, sustain, and build.
Tarot Spotlight — The Emperor
Major Arcana IV
Give the Vision Structure
The Emperor represents leadership, stability, personal authority, and the structures that allow something lasting to be built.
His appearance during such an energetically active month is grounding. Rather than asking us to control every outcome, he asks us to take responsibility for the part that belongs to us: choosing a direction, establishing clear boundaries, and creating the conditions that support growth.
The tree at the center of this month’s imagery reflects that message. Its branches may continue expanding, but its strength comes from what has already been rooted beneath the surface.
August is not simply a time to imagine what could be. It is a time to begin building it.
