Kokoweef Cave Onyx Stalactite is the trade name for banded cave travertine formed within the limestone caverns of Kokoweef Peak in California’s Mojave Desert. This stalactitic material is composed primarily of calcite, deposited in successive layers by mineral-rich water and preserved as concentric bands around a central growth channel.
